Great article, and I have to say, guys, this seems like a lot, but once you begin to practice it, it becomes like instinct. A big key that Sasha mentioned is that social conditioning, it will go away. Even if they are taken, you will be surprised by a natural conversation how much more fun you will have at almost any given setting. Again great article.

To Karl: You're welcome man, I'm glad it helps!

To thaiyellow: thanks for your comment, it's always interesting to know a female perspective on things!

Guys, that's yet another confirmation that women love to be approached, especially when a guy has a good intent and no agenda...

as a woman, i really like it when a guy goes "through the fear" and says hi, or just starts chatting about nothing in particular...

even if it doesn't go anywhere, i feel valued as a person. and if he is attracted to me, and asks my number or to go out it's quite a kick! I will usually say yes, even if i am not attracted to him

am usually curious to see if we relate in some way

except of course if he comes on too strong or he "feels" sleazy, then i'm like~ no thx

Whoa...this was like an entire e-book on approach anxiety.

I'm with Karl. Not sure I've seen such a comprehensive breakdown of this issue on a blog before. Good job.

Great article. A lot of "scientifically proven" facts and points. Covers all the basics. Thank you. This should really help
